Katie's birthday is September 14, 1995, which makes her 5 years old. Her full name is Mary Katherine, but we've always called her Katiebug

What does Miss Bug want to be when she grows up? I've asked, and she consistently tells me she wants to be "a mom". Today she told me that she would like to have two babies - and borrow my clothes when she grows up. THAT way, she can go shopping. She has informed me, though, that when she grows up, she wants to have my blue bra. (I haven't the faintest idea where a lot of the things she comes out with comes from, but she has an interesting perspective on life and the world around her!)

Katie goes to pre-school / day care near our home. The school is "Children's Courtyard". She missed the cut-off for kindergarten by 14 days….

Katie has a variety of interests as well. She loves animals, and is great with them (most of the time). She always helps take care of our pets, a dog named Dixie and a guinea pig named Rajah. Her teacher tells me Katie is the only child in the classroom that has stayed interested in the classroom pet - a flop-eared bunny named "Ginger".
