Saturday, November 11, 2000Can't believe it...I actually edited some code while on the netbike. give me a nice round of applause ;pposted by deb on 12:26:45 PM | link it! -------------------- Friday, November 10, 2000Guess what I did tonight? I went to the movies!!!! One of my neighbors asked if Katie could spend the night with her and her grandson (he's 3), so I said "sure!" and Em and I went to see Charlie's Angels! We enjoyed it alot! It was a great way to have some mother / daughter bonding time.THEN we went to Barnes and Noble to walk around. Shopping on-line at Barnes & Noble or Amazon is great, but it still just doesn't compare to BEING in the store, SEEING all the cool books and gift sets and stuff, especially when the stores are getting ready for Christmas. Hope the Mexican Restaraunt was good, SP. Jen, hang in there on the template thing. And YOU, the one with the green blog with the graphics from FrogFrau, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, and don't let the work thing affect your weekend. Chris, THANK YOU for your e-mail. I really appreciate it. Everyone else, have a great weekend, 'kay? Don't expect an entry from me tomorrow, but I'll do something on Sunday :-) OK - for some reason my e-mail keeps crashing. I read, I start to reply, then it crashes. JEN! I got you added, and you can go HERE for 5 blog templates, or here or here. I'll e-mail you later tonight, 'kay?
Gooooooood Morning!!! -------------------- Thursday, November 9, 2000And Splenda!I know I you an e-mail, but I've been messing around all today and tonight, and am way behind. But supposedly, yes, you can cook with Splenda. They have one and two pound packages of the stuff that has cooking instructions on it. I'm semi working on sticking to my "power protein" diet, and they recommend it, and Mark plans on flipping into it come December or January, so I will likely be trying it out (there is a cheesecake recipe in my Protein Power book that I want to try) posted by deb on 10:13:23 PM | link it! Evening Wind downWhewwwwwww! I'm beat! I did the Cycle class again tonight, and once I come down from that exercise high, it hits me like a ton of bricks! But it was a really awesome class tonight - we road to Scottsdale, AZ tonight, and road up Camel Back. (Tuesday night we road to Bolivia). Ya know, the first time I took that class, back in April, I HATED IT! I've discovered it's the difference in the teachers. So, that is why I'm going on Tuesday / Thursday - I found a teacher that I like, and am going to the classes she teaches. He name is Theresa and her day job is as an Assistant Principal at an Elementary School. Well, dinner tonight was eggs again (picking up on my pattern?) I'm usually hungry after cardio, but tonight I was STARVING. I had 3 whole eggs, plus two extra whites, and two pieces of toast. I'm actually still hungry. What I'd really like is a nice piece of chocolate cake to round things out *g*. What I'll likely settle for will be a nice chocolate protein shake. This look...Does anyone have any opinions on this look for my blog? I know everyone has different tastes, but you aren't the only one that doesn't like the eye stuff. I remember asking Diann to look at some graphics for me for The Other Side, and she wasn't too thrilled with any of the designs with eyes. Personally, I like the overall color scheme. All that teal with pink accents really appeals to me. And the eyes don't bother me. I really search out graphics with meaning to me: The Black "Sometimes" series really spoke to me, with "Sometimes I Sleep with the Moon", "Sometimes I Spin in the Stars" , "Sometimes I Cry in the Rain" . I've gone through so many emotions these last few months, so many ups and downs. But all that BLACK is just too much for me some days. I was so thrilled with the Blue Sometimes graphics that Kitty came out with, and all the little sayings just were so right for me: Sometimes I Wonder, etc. It does seem, though that Kitty uses eyes ALOT in her graphics. Hmmmm..... Does anyone else have an opinon? E-Mail me if you do. I sure don't want anyone avoiding reading my blog cause so many eyes are staring back at them! Damn, I wish I had more talent. It would be so cool to be able to design my own graphics. But now, I will simply continue to borrow from Kitty's Full Moon Graphics. Though there are many other web artists out there, for some strange reason, her stuff just really seems to work for me, both here for my blog, on The Other Side, and on my personal site. Speaking of, is THIS cool or what? Thinking about changing my entrance page over to that, but I sure love all the PINK that's there now. Hmm..... Oh, Leslie!!! Any luck with your sister yet? Did your mother get through to her???!!! And Yes, yes yes!! That is a really great idea! I think I know some folks that would love a blog, but don't have the skills to create their own template.... It's Thursday! And I've been playing around with a new look. I'm feeling pretty peppy, cause I've gotten so much of my stuff done over on my Other Side website! Some of the stuff was great, but some of it was really poopy work - like I had to delete my web ring! Even though it was marked as "adult", which meant it wasn't supposed to be in the directory, but there it is, plain as day - on many search engines. posted by deb on 2:00:00 PM | link it! -------------------- |
